<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 秋意渐浓，天气转凉。身患糖尿病的奶奶关节又开始疼起来，才刚刚读小学的王滔边帮奶奶揉着膝盖，边暗暗立下志向：长大后要当一名医生，让奶奶远离病痛折磨?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> “经常饿着肚子去上学，老师在上面讲课，我的肚子就在下面咕咕直叫?rdquo;王滔说，这种现象在当时很普遍?ldquo;不饿肚子倒显得不正常了?rdquo;此外，当时的照明条件也不太好，室内只有几盏昏暗的日光灯，在这样的灯光下，老师带着他们一起晚自习。条件虽然艰苦，但王滔的学习成绩却丝毫没有受到影响，在后来的“快班”生选拔中，王滔脱颖而出。他说，因为有梦想，所以倍加努力?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 怀揣梦想，1981年，王滔迎来了高考，考试成绩张榜之日，他欣喜地意识到，自己可以进入国内一流医科大?在外?就读。然而，当他兴致勃勃地做着进入一流医科大学就读的美梦时，却被家人脸上的为难表情浇醒了?ldquo;我的哥哥当时在上海读大学，要坐船去学校，一趟路费就?9元，而全家一个月的收入只?0多元，因为缺少路费，哥哥很少回家?rdquo;王滔回忆，当时哥哥去学校用的“行李?rdquo;，都是爸爸用几块木板钉起来的，为了哥哥的学费、生活费等，在学校做教师的爸爸还要经常去外面做零活，“种树、做小工，什么都干，手上都是厚厚的茧子?rdquo;</font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 王滔理解家人的为难，他收起了自己?ldquo;一流大学梦”，就近选择了武汉的原同济医科大学。但是，这没有影响他对梦想的追逐，在这里，他同样获得了丰富的知识给养?年后，他更是把自己的专业方向直接对准了被称为“医学之巅”的新兴学?mdash;—器官移植，也因此进入同济医科大学器官移植研究所?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 1989年，世界首例母亲供脾治疗血友病手术取得成功。不久后，泪流满面的供脾母亲来到王滔及其导师夏穗生面前，感谢他们挽救了自己身患血友病儿子的生命。一时间，王滔及其导师成了名人，频繁见诸报端?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 王滔说，在原同济医科大学攻读研究生期间，他一直师从外科学家、器官移植专家夏穗生?ldquo;学校对研究生的含金量要求很高，如果不拿出点真本事，很难毕业?rdquo;所以，王滔在夏穗生的点拨下，他选择了别人都不愿啃的“硬骨?rdquo;，即通过活体供脾治疗血友病的研究。名师出高徒，在夏穗生的指导下，王滔对活体供脾采用各种手术方式进行了深入研究。在大量有力实验数据支持下，王滔提出?ldquo;活体供脾治疗甲型血友病治疗方式”，这项研究为临床器官移植提供了可靠的理论和实践依据，在当时具有国际先进水平。王滔作为一名研究生，一下子站在了器官移植医学的国际最前沿?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 然而，在成功之初，还是经历了不少波折。王滔告诉记者，甲型血友病并不是一种常见病，不好找病例，而且，即使找到病例，在当时医疗欠发达的年代，也很难说服患者及其家属进行手术。因为信息不畅通，王滔便到处搜罗全国各大医院教授的名字及联系方式，并通过写信方式与之沟通，“内容都是要求对方提供病例，很多信件撒出去一直没有音讯，但这并没有影响我继续寻找的决心?rdquo;王滔说，最终，经过一年的努力，他终于找到了一位患甲型血友病?1岁小男孩，并说动了其母亲愿意供脾?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> “脾移植后，患儿凝血因子VIII水平升高，出血症状明显缓解，再无自发性出血，已纤维化的双膝关节功能逐渐改善，已能依杖行走?rdquo;王滔高兴地说。这也意味着具有开创意义的世界首例母亲供脾治疗甲型血友病手术成功完成，他们也因此获得了国家科技进步二等奖的荣誉。这也随即引起当时一些报刊杂志的关注，经报道，许多慕名而来的患者纷纷找到他们寻求救助?ldquo;随后，我们又为三例患者动了手术，也相当成功?rdquo;王滔说，1996年，《中国器官移植杂志》，?989年以来施行的4例亲属脾移植治疗血友病甲的长期存活情况作了追踪报道?例中3例为母亲供脾?例为父亲供脾，均获得了满意的疗效?年内?C水平明显上升?年后仍能显著改善患者的临床出血症状，后3例患者至今移植脾保持有功能，最长者达4年，创下了脾移植最佳世界纪录?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 1993年，国家提出要实?ldquo;211”工程，即面向21世纪，重点建?00所左右的高等学校和一批重点学科点?995年，王滔博士毕业，而一直为筹建“211”大学储备力量的广州暨南大学早就看好了王滔，当即就向其发出邀请，王滔欣然应邀，成为该校第一个外科博士?/font></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><font size="4"> 王滔说，医学的点滴前行，都是建立在大量的医学实验基础上的。为了尽快在临床上通过基因疗法开展器官移植，他做了大量动物实验。他说，做器官移植免不了产生排斥反应，尤其是异种移植，而他恰恰是通过研究，发现通过基因疗法可以预防血管排斥反应，从而达到让患者治愈的目的。他的这一研究成果很快在美国《器官移植》、《循环》杂志刊载。王滔也因此获得?8届美国器官移植年会头等奖——UPJOHN青年杰出研究者奖?/font></span></p>
